I wanted to share with you some fantastic news. Yesterday afternoon, after conversations with the Governor’s office and OFM, I signed a new MOU that successfully secures interest arbitration rights for Teamster correctional employees for the remainder of the 2015-2017 contract cycle.

The power of Teamster correctional employees was on full display in Olympia today. Over 150 members and their families, along with Teamster staff and members from other industries, met with dozens of legislators as a part of our DOC Lobby Day.
