Secretary-Treasurer John Scearcy will be bringing a powerful team of 40 Teamsters to the 2016 Convention of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters this June.

The group of 20 delegates and 20 alternates were nominated, without opposition, last night at a meeting at our Union hall in Tukwila.

The team includes members from a variety of industries and geographical locations throughout our Union. Many Shop Stewards and other member leaders will be part of our delegation. “This is an outstanding group,” Scearcy said.

“The Convention is an excellent opportunity for all of us to meet Teamsters from across the country and to connect with the work of our International Union. With such a large, powerful delegation, the IBT will definitely know that Local 117 is in the house.”
