You are a bunch of children!!! 1st of all, how many of you have actually been to a farm where you claim “The farmworkers are treated terribly and the company uses strong-arm tactics to try to intimidate its employees,”?? How many of you are thinking about that one person that voted against the strike? Because the rest of you are having a temper tantrum, that person can’t wonk until you stop crying about your “unfair labor practice”. Way to be selfish! Nothing like shooting yourselves in the foot with your “workers and community volunteers dispatched to seven area Walmart and Sam’s Club stores to educate consumers about the unfair practices in the plants and the unsafe, unsanitary conditions on the farms that supply Darigold milk”. Let’s alienate the people who supply your paychecks!! Without people buying Darigold products, YOU DON’T HAVE A JOB!!! Real smart, don’t ya think? (since you all aren’t very smart, let me just add that that was PURE SARCASM…don’t want you to think that I’m actually calling you smart) Oh, and all of the workers at other plants that now have to be away from their families to run the plants you are “striking” against, what about them What about the fact that until you are done bitching, these people have to stop their lives to keep a plant running so your stupid ass has someplace to go back to work? What if they didn’t and these plants closed Then where would your crying get you?? Obviously, you are all BEYOND selfish and don’t think about anyone but yourselves and what you want right here and right now! Well, reality check, that’s not how life works!! Get over yourselves, get back to work or give the jobs to the hundreds of thousands of people that are so desperately seeking employment. Give it to these people, that instead of whining and boo-hooing would be BEYOND grateful for the opportunity! Oh, and before you say, this person doesn’t know what they are talking about, let me tell you… I am the spouse of someone who has worked their butt off and been part of this amazing company for 20 years. He did not need some union to do anything for him. He has worked his butt off and been more than taken care of by this amazing company. His benefits have always been MORE THAN FAIR (much better than MANY other companies). The union just wants your money and when you don’t do what they want, you get your benefits yanked right out from underneath you…make perfect sense (again with the sarcasm) that you would be mad at Darigold that does nothing but pay you (and frankly put up with your BS), take care of you and provide great benefits instead of the union that continues to take your money (dues) when you aren’t even working. From a spouse of a Darigold worker, YOU, Teamsters and the 159 of you that voted for the strike, SUCK!!!! Thank you for taking my husband away from me (AGAIN because he’s had to cover for your stupidity and selfishness before) and for making him have to miss an undetermined amount of time of his kids’ lives as well. I hope that it’s worth it and I hope that you will put yourself in our shoes and imagine how it would feel. I also hope that you will truly evaluate the accusations you are making and since they are untrue and unfounded, stop with the strike and go back to work. Be grateful for what you have and if you can’t…get out and give the jobs to people who will be grateful.
