In August, we will be holding contract vote meetings for all DOC Teamsters to vote on your 2019-2021 collective bargaining agreement.

Meetings at MCC will take place on Monday, August 6 at 0630, 0900, 1130, 1430, 1630.

It's important that you vote! Attend one of the listed meetings at your facility. Thank you!

I’m grateful for the increased wages that the current Teamsters negotiated contract provided; however, there are non-money issues that are extremely important. Many my co-workers at SOTP that enjoyed the first installments of the new pay scale are not around to enjoy the July, 2018 increase. These friends and union members were driven away from careers with DOC by longstanding and aggressive abuse by SOTP management. This abuse, nicely documented by DOC, gone on for over a decade – unchecked.

More money is nice, but if you’re not here to enjoy it, what’s the point?
