MONROE CORRECTIONAL COMPLEX
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at MCC will take place on November 19 in the TRCC Visit Room at 0630, 1230, 1445, 1600.
  • A demand to bargain meeting over recruitment and retention pay for LPNs and Psychologist 4s is scheduled for the end of November.
  • We have completed bargaining over  the repurposing of WSR – C/D unit from medium to MI3. 
WASHINGTON CORRECTIONS CENTER
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at WCC will take place on December 9 in the Assembly Room at 620, 1200, 1300, 1420, 1600.
  • A statewide demand to bargain over classification plan changes and correctional mental health changes was held on October 20.
  • On October 30, we participated in a demand to bargain over work period designation.
MISSION CREEK CORRECTIONS CENTER FOR WOMEN
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at MCCCW will take place on November 18 in the Ramirez Building at 620, 1200, 1300, 1420.
  • On October 30, we participated in a demand to bargain meeting to discuss work period designation.
LARCH CORRECTIONS CENTER
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at LCC will take place on December 3 in the Visit Room at 1200, 1300, 1430, 2100.
  • Effective November 1, Talisa Boad is provided Business Representative coverage for members at LCC.  Talisa is a former Shop Steward at WCCW. She can be reached at 1-877-872-3489 ext. 1246.
  • We will be scheduling an LMCC in the month of December to discuss issues involving respirators.
  • We held Shop Steward elections at the facility on October 20. New Stewards will begin their duties effective January 1.
STAFFORD CREEK CORRECTIONS CENTER
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at SCCC will take place on December 1 in the Training Room A/B at 1200, 1400, 1530, 2100.
  • We have filed a grievance over improper letter of expectation at the facility.
  • We held Shop Steward elections at the facility on October 19. New Stewards will begin their duties effective January 1. 
CLALLAM BAY CORRECTIONS CENTER
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at CBCC will take place on December 8 in the Visitation Room at 1200, 1400, 1530, 2100.
WASHINGTON CORRECTIONS CENTER FOR WOMEN
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at WCCW will take place on November 20 in the R Building at 620, 1200, 1300, and 1420.
  • On October 26, we participated in an LMCC for members working in health services at WCCW.
  • On October 30, we participated in a demand to bargain over work period designation.
OLYMPIC CORRECTIONS CENTER
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at OCC will take place on December 8 at 1200, 1400, 1530, and 2100.
  • We will be scheduling an LMCC in the month of December to discuss issues involving respirators.
CEDAR CREEK CORRECTIONS CENTER
  • Starting in November, we will be holding Holiday Membership Meetings at every facility across the State. We will be discussing upcoming contract negotiations and preparing for the 2016 legislative session. Meetings at CCCC will take place on December 14 at 620, 1200, 1300, 1420.
  • On October 30, we participated in a demand to bargain over work period designation.
