Teamster members have a lot at stake in this election.
The candidates we vote into office will determine whether or not we are able to fund our DOC contract, pass paid sick leave legislation, protect working families against wage theft, and protect our State's workers' comp system.
The best way to achieve our legislative priorities is if we all exercise our right to vote!
Ballots for the General Election were mailed on Friday, October 17th and you will have until November 4th to postmark your ballot and put it in the mail.
Teamsters Local 117 has a comprehensive list of election resources on our website, including:
- Endorsements - who our Union has endorsed for elected office
- Endorsement Process - FAQs about how we make our endorsements
- Election Activities - all our upcoming voter contact activities to help elect those candidates who support our positions on the above issues
As a Union member, your vote has a direct impact on your livelihood. Your Union has made its choice. Now, it’s your turn. Whatever you decide, make sure to get your ballot in the mail by November 4!
