Teamsters at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery can help keep you sane on Election Night.

Want to support essential Teamsters during the pandemic? Then scurry off to your local union grocer where you can stock up on your favorite libations from the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.

Your noble gesture supports 117 members like Shop Steward Bob Owen who works in the Ste. Michelle barrel room crafting Chardonnay.

"My job starts with filling large oak barrels with juice from the grapes," Bob explains.

Bob Owen has been a Shop Steward at Chateau Ste. Michelle for about a decade.

Your patronage of Chateau Ste. Michelle not only supports good union jobs and the Teamsters who work there, it benefits a decent employer as well.

"They've always been willing to work with us," extols Owen, who has served on our union negotiations committee for the last three contract cycles.

"We're lucky - we've got a good employer and a great union."

Owen and the crew praised the company for its recent decision to give its employees a paid holiday on Election Day so they all can vote.

"Any time you get another paid day off, it's pretty great," Owen says. "I'll be spending election night with my wife watching the returns as they come in."

So stock up on union wine for the night of November 3. Depending on your political affiliation, you may need it!
