New members of Teamsters Local 117 are invited to attend a New Member Orientation meeting.  Meetings are held at 12 P.M. and 6 P.M. on the same day as our general membership meetings.

All new members of Teamsters Local 117 who attend a New Member Orientation Meeting within six months of their date of hire will receive a partial rebate of their Union initiation fee.

New Teamsters who earn more than $15 an hour at the top scale will pay an initiation fee of $300. Come to a New Member Orientation Meeting within 6 months of your date of hire and get a $100 rebate. New Teamsters who earn less than $15 per hour at the top scale will pay an initiation fee of $100. Come to a New Member Orientation Meeting within 6 months of your date of hire and get a $50 rebate.
