Join Teamster women and their friends and family for our Union Womxn - Grow & Ignite conference on Saturday, September 16 at the Union Hall in Tukwila.

The conference will feature presentations, open discussion, and group participatory workshops for members of Teamsters 117 and their friends and family.

We'll have lunch, a fundraiser art auction, music, activities for kids, and much more! We will have a licensed childcare provider who will care for your child(ren) during the conference. Join us!

We have an amazing lineup in store for our Grow & Ignite Conference! The event will feature:

• A keynote address from April Sims, the first woman President of the Washington State Labor Council and the first Black woman president of an AFL-CIO state federation;
• Workshops covering how to advance equity through collective bargaining, the impact of recent and potential Supreme Court decisions on working womxn and Unions, self-defense techniques, and an opportunity to experience sound healing;
• An auction of art created by Teamsters Local 117 members and a dance performance by Mexican Folk Dance Youth Group, Joyas Mestizas;
• A chance to connect to other Teamster womxn and to develop your leadership skills;
• And much, much more!
