Teamsters 117, as a member of the Coalition of State Employee Unions, has achieved a tentative agreement with the State over your health care benefits for the 2023-2025 biennium.

The agreement maintains the status quo on your premium share from the previous biennium. Under the proposal, your employer will continue to contribute 85% of the monthly premium for the self-insured Uniform Medical Plan (UMP) Classic for members, while members will contribute 15%.

The agreement increases flexible spending account (FSA) eligibility of $250 paid for by the employer to members with a full-time equivalent base salary of $60,000 or less.

Our Coalition of State Employee Unions recommends that you vote YES. Voting will take place using ElectionBuddy from Thursday, September 22 through Wednesday, September 28. We will be sending you more information about the vote next week.
