Last year on Sept. 16, nearly 100 Teamsters and Union members from across the labor movement gathered together for our Grow & Ignite Womxn's Conference.
It was an event filled with beauty, inspiration, networking, art, and education driven by, and centered around, working womxn. Participants left Grow and Ignite with new knowledge, relationships, and inspiration to keep building a powerful Union together.
The Local 117 Womxn's Committee is hosting a follow-up event to build on the energy we created at Grow and Ignite.
At Grow, Ignite, and Connect we'll share a meal, discuss issues of importance to working womxn, exercise our creativity, and build connections between Teamsters womxn (and their co-conspirators). All members and their families are invited to attend!
