The 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is celebrated for abolishing slavery in the United States, but it also hides something insidious.

Led by an amazing group of women on our Teamsters 117 Womxn's Committee, we invite you to join us for a drive in screening of "13th", a film exploring the topics of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the US.

When: Saturday, August 22 at 6:30PM

Where: ShoWare Center - 625 W James St, Kent, WA 98032

We opted to make this a drive-in event to maintain safety and social distancing requirements. Family and friends in your vehicle are welcome! This event is appropriate for older children ages 13+. We will have goody bags and bandannas available for each vehicle and yummy snacks for everyone (please wear a mask to grab those). Be sure to check out the tasty food truck treats we will have available.

Please register in advance as spaces are limited!

Will you come?
