Something exciting is happening in the City of Burien!

There are a number of young, progressive candidates who are running in the City of Burien to bring a fresh new face to the City Council.  Lauren Berkowitz and Joey Martinez are two great new candidates -- neither of whom have been elected to public office before!

Our Union has endorsed them, and is now working to make sure our members know they will each be great allies on the City Council.

Please join us for a drink at Black Zia Cantina at 5PM and then hit the doors with us until about 8PM.  Should be a really fun night!
