We're gearing up for our DOC Lobby Day on Tuesday, January 26 - it's going to be a great event! 

So far, turnout is looking excellent - we have over 160 DOC members and other Teamsters who have registered. 

We will be meeting on Tuesday, January 26 at 8 a.m. at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia (2300 Evergreen Park Dr SW, Olympia, WA 98502) for a short training, and then head to the Capitol to meet with our legislators.

If you are coming from Eastern Washington, we will provide transportation on Monday, January 25 and accommodations that evening at the Red Lion in Olympia. There will also be a bus leaving from MCC on January 26.

We sent out a packet of materials about the day's activities to all members that registered. They include:

• a cover letter with detailed logistical information
• a map of the Capitol campus
• our legislative priorities for 2016

We are all excited to see you in Olympia, and the legislators are as well! Many of the legislators don’t have a clue about what you do on a daily basis, so your physical presence in Olympia on Lobby Day to share your personal stories will make an enormous difference in our ability to enact our legislative priorities.
