Great news!  Just a few short weeks after announcing our annual Union Peanut Butter Drive, we have collected more than 350 jars for hungry kids in Pierce County!

Local 117 President John Scearcy was at Fred Meyer yesterday, taking advantage of Freddie's low prices - just $1.50 for a 16oz jar! He used donations from members and staff to stock up.  

A handy peanut butter receptacle is now in the middle of the lobby at the Union hall and it's filling up quick!  If you are coming to our membership meeting on March 19, be sure to bring a jar or two to toss into the box.

Remember that all of our donations will benefit hungry children through Pierce County's backpack program. Get your donations in by May 1 and thank you for helping to fight hunger!
