Teamsters 117 supports policies that both strengthen Unions and put more money in the pockets of working families. That means we endorse candidates who support the policies we support so we can turn around a decline both in Union membership as well as the income disparity for middle-class Americans.
So far in 2018, our Statewide Political Advisory Committee met with nearly 50 candidates, and made endorsements for legislative office for positions which will appear on your Primary Election ballot this year. For more about our endorsement process, please click here.
In addition to the endorsements Teamsters 117 makes, we also participate with the other Washington State Teamster locals in federal races for office. You can find those endorsements here.
Teamsters 117 supports candidates who prioritize working family issues, who prioritize investments in education, who support good retirement policies, and who oppose right-to-work-for-less laws. Please take into consideration who we endorse when you vote.
