AIRWAY HEIGHTS CORRECTIONS CENTER
Representative Humbert met with Airway Heights Management and CI Management on October 3 to discuss the closed loop food program for the kitchen. At that meeting, we discussed when the kitchen would convert from the AHCC kitchen to CI closed loop food program. Stay tuned for more information.
Representative Humbert heard a probationary separation with Health Services on October 16.
Our holiday membership meetings are scheduled for December 5 at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Spokane Airport (9015 US 2 Spokane, WA 99224). Times are 0630, 1230, 1430, and 1615. Representative Dean attended the CRCC Business Office meeting on the DOC Strategic Plan on October 1.
Representative Dean participated in a CRCC Safety meeting on October 14.
On October 15, Representative Dean attended the CRCC Local Security Advisory Committee (LSAC).
On October 21, Representative Dean attended the sustainability committee meeting.
On October 30, Representative Dean attended the CRCC Labor Management Communication Committee (LMCC) meeting.

WASHINGTON STATE PENITENTIARY
Representative Humbert held two first-level grievance hearings at WSP on October 6 as well as one pre-disciplinary hearing with WSP management.
Representatives Humbert and Dean presented at Correction Worker CORE for new hires at WSP on October 24.
On October 27, Representatives Dean and Humbert bargained over changes in the Mental Health Unit at WSP.
