Members of Teamsters 117 are invited to attend a Conference for Law Enforcement, Corrections, and 911 Personnel on

Thursday May 13 & Friday May 14

from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. PST. 

This Conference is FREE and open to all Teamsters working in the public safety professions. The event is organized by the Public Services Division of our International Teamsters Union.

We'll be discussing important topics such as Peer Support & Crisis Intervention, Critical Incidents, the Teamsters Legal Defense Fund, Social Media and Member Speech, Racial Justice and Law Enforcement, among others.

Michelle Woodrow, Teamsters 117 President, Executive Director and representative for the Public Services Division, will be presenting at the conference on best practices for Local Unions, Union Representatives, and Shop Stewards. In addition, two of our law enforcement members from the Redmond Police Department and the Port of Seattle will be presenting in the Racial Justice, Labor, and Law Enforcement workshop.
