Matt has been a member in the recycle industry at Waste Management since 2008 and was elected Shop Steward in 2019. He has helped organize workers in his industry and has been part of the team that negotiated solid waste contracts with historic improvements. As a member leader, he firmly believes that a solidified, active Union is the determining factor in workers achieving a healthy work-life balance, job security, and benefits that members can be proud of.
