Paul first became a Teamsters 117 member in January of 2008 when he went to work in the steel industry. He was appointed Shop Steward a short time later and promptly got involved in activities with the Union outside of his workplace. In 2011, he was a delegate to the International Convention and became a Union Representative in August of that same year. He became the Director of Representation in 2016 and has lead our large team of Union Reps in both the Public and Private Sectors since then. Paul has a passion for lifting up our members' demands, defending their rights, and has a proven track record of negotiating excellent contracts in a myriad of industries. Local 117’s Executive Board has unanimously appointed him to the Executive Board's President position.
