The momentum for a $15/hour minimum wage is clearly on our side. Teamsters 117 is working with our labor and community partners to bring higher wages to low wage workers in Seattle and beyond.
One of those partners is WA YELL, a community group of young, emerging labor leaders. WA YELL is launching neighborhood-centric actions with the 15 Now Campaign to educate, mobilize and help raise the fight for a better living.
YELL’s first action will be Keep Calm and Bar Hop for $15! on Thursday, March 13, 2014. This event will kick-off theMarch for $15 on March 15th, the National Day of Action!!
We will meet at Ozzie’s on QueenAnne located at 105 W Mercer St, Seattle, WA 98119 at 6:00 P.M. then proceed to patronize local small businesses in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood.
