Black Teamsters United was founded by a group of Teamster activists from the Washington Teamsters Joint Council No. #28 in 2011 and is modeled after the Teamsters National Black Caucus. Our mission is: “To provide Teamsters an opportunity to be inclusive in an environment that will enrich, embrace, and respect the diversity of its members.”
