In a resounding victory for taxi and flat-rate drivers, Port of Seattle Commission voted to approve an agreement to officially end taxi contractor Eastside for Hire’s “Pay-to-Work” fleet reduction plan, and provide stability for the remainder of Eastside’s contract with the Port.

This week DOC negotiations shifted to economics as your Union presented its robust and aggressive economic proposal demanding the State recognize the incredible service that correctional employees provide to protect the public.
