In a resounding victory for taxi and flat-rate drivers, Port of Seattle Commission voted to approve an agreement to officially end taxi contractor Eastside for Hire’s “Pay-to-Work” fleet reduction plan, and provide stability for the remainder of Eastside’s contract with the Port.

SeaTac drivers, 29 of whom are 60 hours away from termination deadline set by Eastside for Hire, are at Port of Seattle Commission Meeting thanking the Port Commissioners for their support and urging further action.
