This week is National Nurses Week, a time to pay tribute to the exceptional work of our members at the Washington State Nurses Association and at the Department of Corrections.

With a few notable exceptions, most of us will never set foot inside a prison. Of those who do, most are perpetrators of serious crimes paying their debt to society.
