For those of you unable to join us for our Teamsters Local 117 Lobby Day on January 28, we will be back down in Olympia with our other Teamster locals for the next Lobby Day on February 20.  If you joined us for our Local 117 Lobby Day, please join us again!

The day will begin with a training at the Washington State Labor Council at 8AM at 906 Columbia St, SW.  At 9:30AM we will go to the Capitol campus for meetings with legislators about issues Teamsters care about, like increasing the minimum wage for all workers, statewide paid sick leave, as well as protecting our state's workers' compensation system.  In addition, we will also be lobbying for issues important to our members at the Department of Corrections and for our taxi cab operators association.

We will finish the day with a lunch at 1:00PM back at the Washington State Labor Council office.
