Drivers to Deliver a “Citation for Inaction” to the City Council on August 2 at 1 P.M.

(Seattle, WA) – Puget Sound taxicab operators and their community allies will hold a demonstration on Friday, August 2 starting at 12 noon at Seattle City Hall to demand fairness and a level playing field in Seattle's personal transportation industry.

After the event, at approximately 1 P.M., a delegation of drivers from the Western Washington Taxicab Operators Association (WWTCOA) will address the media before delivering a “Citation for Inaction” to the City Council for its failure to enforce existing laws that protect taxi drivers and their families.
