Teamsters laced up their boots on Saturday for the fourth annual Local 117 Soccer Tournament, held at the Tukwila Community Center.
There were players from six teams that participated in the event, including members from the grocery, dairy, steel, maritime, and taxi industries. In all, about 100 members and their families were on hand to enjoy the festivities.

The championship game was a re-match of last year’s final with Safeway Azteca taking on Fred Meyer Silva FC. In the end, the Safeway crew prevailed and took home the winning cup for a second straight year.
Congrats to the two finalists and thank you to everyone who helped make the day a fun solidarity building exercise for Local 117 members and their families.
