Washington’s budget is a reflection of our most fundamental values and it is time to stand together with one message.

Affordable housing and health care, safe communities, reliable transportation, clean air and water, a fully-funded education system, and a robust economy create an environment which benefits all of us.

On February 20, we will be joining with other unions and community groups to urge lawmakers to invest in those values.  It's our Public Service Matters Lobby Day. 

A bus will depart our Teamsters 117 Union hall at 7:30am on February 20, and make a stop in Tacoma at the I-5/SR 520 P&R at 8:15 AM. Once we get to Olympia, we'll have a quick training, then head to the state capitol for a press conference, rally, and meetings with lawmakers.
