You shouldn’t have to choose between your health and your job. It seems straightforward, but every day thousands of workers in restaurants, child care centers, and offices throughout Tacoma are faced with that very decision.
The Tacoma City Council is considering legislation that would enable workers to earn paid sick days. But if we’re going to make sick leave a reality, it’s going to take an outpouring of grassroots support from Teamster members like us.
