Google and Facebook drivers want to be Teamsters. A group of drivers who work in the Puget Sound region asked today that Teamsters Local 117 be recognized as their collective bargaining representative.

“We are looking forward to having our Union recognized - it is the right thing to do. We are determined to have our Union,” said Mona Shade.

To help the drivers win a voice at work, Teamsters Local 117 filed for a union election today with the National Labor Relations Board. In the coming days, the NLRB will set an election date, and the drivers will have the opportunity to vote to become Teamsters.

Let's stand together with our brothers and sisters as they fight to win improvements at work and the dignity and respect they deserve!
