Grocery distribution is one of our core industries, and this summer we are gearing up for contract negotiations with the four major grocery houses - Fred Meyer, Safeway, SuperValu, and Unified Grocers.

Demands meetings for members at Unified Grocers and Safeway were held this weekend.  Meetings for Fred Meyer and SuperValu have been completed as well.  

“We need to show a willingness not to back down and make sure that members at all four distribution centers are united,”  said Roger Fields, a 31-year member at SuperValu.

Make sure you are signed up to receive updates during bargaining.  It's time for all of us in our Union to stand together in support of our Brothers and Sisters in the grocery industry!
