Local 117 hosts events throughout the year designed to promote union solidarity, workers' rights, and community action. For years, Local 117 has organized steward trainings, educational seminars, and an annual blood drive.

• Stewards Seminar & Appreciation Lunch - March 6, 2010
  The annual Shop Steward Seminar will take place on March 6, 2010 from 8:30am - 2:00pm at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle.  If you are a Local 117 Shop Steward, you will be receiving an invitation and information packet in the mail.  The theme for this year's seminar is collective bargaining.  In you have questions, talk to your Business Representative or call 206-441-4860.
